Session fee at my Wayzata office:
45 minute session $100
Services at my Wayzata office are currently provided on a fee for service or out-of-network insurance provider basis (see below). I also accept Flex spending and HSA cards. Payment by cash, check, or credit card is due at the beginning of each session.
If you want to use in-network insurance benefits, I offer appointments at the Tyler Institute located in Golden Valley where I accept some insurance plans. Click here for fees and additional information: www.tylerinstitute.org
Late cancellation: If a client fails to keep an appointment without notifying me 24 hours in advance, a $75 late cancellation fee will be charged.
Out of Network Insurance: If you have out-of-network benefits, please contact your insurance company for eligibility and to see what percentage of the fee they cover. Using your insurance may limit confidentiality as the insurance company may request session information. They also may limit the number of sessions allowed. Please contact me if you have questions about this option.
Potential advantages of not using insurance:
- The number of sessions is not limited.
- Confidentiality. When you use your insurance, the insurance company’s case manager reviews your claims and has access to your clinical information.
- An alternative is that I can provide you with a statement listing the session date and payment amount, which you might be able to submit to the following:
a. Your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flex Spending Account for reimbursement. Please contact your benefits manager for verification and what documentation is required for reimbursement.
b. Your tax adviser for a possible tax deduction. Please consult with your tax advisor.
