
Session fees:
50 minute session $120
75 minute session $180
Services are currently provided on a fee for service basis and payment by cash, check or credit card is due at the beginning of each session. See below regarding insurance.
If a client fails to keep an appointment without notifying me 24 hours in advance, a $100 late cancellation fee will be charged.
Insurance: I currently do not accept insurance but if you have out of network benefits you might be able to receive reimbursement from your insurance company for a portion of the session fee. You will need to contact your insurance provider to see if this would apply. This will require a diagnosis and may limit confidentiality and sessions allowed. Listed below are a few potential advantages of paying out of pocket for your therapy sessions instead of using your insurance.
- The number of sessions is not limited.
- Confidentiality. When you use your insurance, the insurance company’s case manager reviews your claims and has access to your clinical information.
- I can provide you with a statement listing session attendance and payment, which you might be able to submit to the following:
a. Your HSA (health savings account) or Flex Spending Account. Please contact your benefits manager for verification.
b. Your tax advisor for a possible tax deduction. Please consult with your tax advisor.
c. Your insurance company for possible partial reimbursement for using an out of network provider. Every policy is different, so please contact your provider.
